Mad cow disease, also known by its proper name, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, is a rare, non-contagious disease that can be caught in Redmont.
Signs and Symptoms
Players infected with mad cow disease experience a severe headache as their only symptom.
Causes
Mad cow disease is caused by a prion, which players can catch from spending too much time around sick cows, or by eating infected cow meat.
Management

While in real life there is no cure for the condition, in Redmont it can be treated with pain relief. This can be crafted by a Doctor or Pharmacist with a red mushroom, a glass bottle, gunpowder, glowstone dust, and a magma cream.
