UnityMaster (Joined 12 January 2021) was a Redmontian Politician who served as the 18th President of Redmont. He was a member of the Patriotic Coalition of Redmont (PCR).

Early History

UnityMaster first joined on 12 January 2021, and on his first day, he became a Brewer and acquired his first property. He would continue playing somewhat daily as a Brewer, registering The Unity Brewing Company. This continued until 17 January 2021, when he became a Pharmacist. On 20 January 2021, he would become a Doctor.

Political Career

From his very early days on the server, UnityMaster would show active interest in political activity, advertising the "NCP" on 19 January 2021 in response to then Deputy Speaker of the House 218218Consumer's Join the DRP ad. He would then the following month run as a Representative for the NCP.

House of Representatives February 2021 Special Election

On 15 February 2021, the Department of State announced the House of Representatives Special Election. The next day, on 16 February 2021, UnityMaster would announce his intention to contest a seat in the House of Representatives for the NCP. He would post campaign posters on the main Discord, such as the ones attached.

The polls closed on 20 February 2021 and UnityMaster would be elected with eight votes.

First Term in House of Representatives

On 28 February 2021, UnityMaster would share his first act of Congress, The Affordable Employment Act, which allows for a grant to be granted exclusively for employment of labour, which would be rejected by Vice President [hugebob23456] in a tie-break. His term would be cut short by the 6th House of Representatives Elections on 1 March 2021, where he lost re-election.

Failed House of Representatives March 2021 Bid and Disappearance

On 1 March 2021, the Department of State announced the 6th House of Representatives Election. On the same day, UnityMaster declares his intention to contest a seat in the House of Representatives as a member of The Birthday Party.

The results were released on 10 March 2021 and UnityMaster failed re-election, securing only 4 votes, reacting "Bruh" in chat as his Representative role vanished. He would vanish from the server on 18 March 2021, perhaps disclosing that he was leaving Redmont, as the following day when election results for the Head of Commerce of Willow were announced, which UnityMaster had won, stated "however he is no longer on the server, so Icypenguin79 has won such seat". He would disappear for over two and a half years, rejoining Redmont on 9 October 2023.

Incapacitation and Subsequent Deportation

On 8 January 2025, Vice President become Acting President lcn, announced that President UnityMaster had been deported (referring to a temporary or permanent ban due to incompliance with DemocracyCraft Rules), and rendered incapable of fulfilling the duties of President, thus all the powers and responsibilities of President that UnityMaster had possessed were transferred to lcn as Acting President. UnityMaster would remain President in all but function and capacity due to this deportation. On 16 January 2025, a damning letter to the House of Representatives signed by Vice President lcn, Secretary of State TheReal42Person, Homeland Security Secretary HellsideBurnton, Attorney General Freeze_Line, Commerce Secretary Technofied, Public Affairs Secretary bigpappa140, Construction Secretary KattoDE, Health Secretary crytiee, Interior Secretary kvogt2340, and Education Secretary IisForIzzy, outlining their justification for the incapacitation and removal of UnityMaster from the office of President. The contents of which were shared as a government announcement by Acting President lcn.

The letter accused UnityMaster of not signing bills for weeks and months, failing to sign amendments to the Law without communicating with the Departments they affect. Accused him of signing illegal Executive Orders, signing Executive Orders without communicating them to the Departments, failing to respond to members of cabinet, failing to communicate with the Vice President on pressing matters, failing to enforce the Executive Orders that he signed, failing to provide transparency of his actions, and neglecting duties of Acting DCT Secretary which he had appointed himself. The letter also alleged that he signed illegal Executive Orders, such as, Increasing Universal Basic Income Disbursement, signed 6 January 2025, which supposedly the President could only raise UBI to $5, the Declaration of the Netherite Standard for the Redmont Dollar, signed 7 January 2025, where it was alleged that "The President has no authority over the actions of the Federal Reserve Bank. The President cannot require financial institutions, businesses, and all other entities within Redmont to recognize the Netherite backed Redmont Dollar as the sole legal tender. The President cannot spend government funds in a way that conflicts with Congressionally approved appropriations". Lastly, the ''Mandating the Resumption of the Pruning Tax for Netherite Executive Order, signed 7 January 2025, which the accusees proport "The President cannot spend government funds in a way that conflicts with Congressionally approved appropriations. The President has no authority over the actions of the Federal Reserve Bank. These attempts to act on something outside of the power of the President opened the door for lawsuits to be made and undermined the integrity to the law that the President must follow".

Other gruelling accusations included failure to communicate with the Vice President on pressing matters such as UnityMaster's own deportation on 7 January 2025, the hiring/firing of Cabinet members, communicating with said Cabinet, and failing to communicate with the public. He also signed Executive Orders which allegedly damaged and affected Departments without thorough communication of their function and practice, such as the Agricultural Stockpiles Initiative, signed 28 Nocember 2024, which the allegees state "The Department of the Interior and the Department of Construction & Transport were not communicated with before the President signed this Executive Order, which creates a large amount of work for the supply side of the Department of the Interior, and requires the construction of several caverns in the mountain sides of Willow". Regardless, the DCT under Construction Secretary xEndeavour during the late Juniperfig Administration implemented large amounts of work to Willow increasing land considerably with the creation of Ranch plots, which effectively allowed for player-made stockpiles. The Mandatory Tendering of Government Supplies Executive Order, signed 1 December 2024, according the letter authors, stipulates that "The Department of the Interior was not communicated with before the President signed this Executive Order, which creates a large amount of work for the supply side of the Department of the Interior", regardless of which, later Omegabiebel's Federal Reserve Act codified spawning and despawning of resources. The accused also alledged UnityMaster's Executive Order - 31/24 Military Reserves, where "The Department of the Interior was not communicated with before the President signed this Executive Order, which creates a large amount of work for the supply side of the Department of the Interior". The Executive Order 38/24 Establishment of UniCare and Project MediPrivate (Yakcare), signed 29 December 2024, found concerns from the Department of Health, which this Incapacitation Letter alledges "The Department of Health shared many concerns regarding this Executive Order, and despite that, the President still signed it. This Executive Order completely overhauls the medical system for the Department of Health, and despite the Secretary saying that they “cannot enact it,” he signed it. After sharing more questions and concerns, PresidentUnityMaster did not respond." Other Executive Orders along these lines faced many legal and Departmental issues, characterizing UnityMaster's Presidency as one of top-down authority and a clear failure in communicating with his cabinet and Congress.

The aftermath of this damning report was equally damning, on 17 January 2025, President of the Senate xEndeavour posted the Incapacitation notice, which the Vice President lcn motioned to congress, to which Senator xEndeavour voted aye, alongside Senators Vernicia and Goldblooded, one nay from Senator CopTop, and two abstains from Yeet_Boy and JediAJMan, thus removing President UnityMaster from office, ending his Presidential term prematurely. The office of Presidency would transfer to lcn, which was confirmed by a government announcement by the then declared-President on 18 January 2025.
