The Pirate Party of Redmont (PPR) is a Centrist Libertarian Party in Redmont. Founded on June 10, 2026, by ThePufferOfficial,[1] The Party is currently led by Captain Adamoni[2]. The PPR focuses mainly on ensuring democracy is running smoothly, With many members also being part of other political parties.

History

The Pirate Party of Redmont Began in 2026, with ThePufferOfficial, initially without legal recognition as their application was still in process[2], and got recognition quickly. One of the first things done as a party was to vote to endorse Multiman for president, 60-40 beating Talion, whilst encouraging their players to vote. Then, on 6/8, ThePufferOfficial's friend was banned, and the order was given to cause chaos in Redmont in coordination with the 6/7 strikes. Then, five hours later, the strikes were resolved, and the order was rescinded. On 6/12, the first ship's council was elected, being ThePufferOfficial, DirtBoss, and Gaylord, with Rageman and Adamoni as the captains. On the same day, the party's first primary was held, ending with the decision to endorse Puffer and Troniq for house. Then, on 6/18, the party chose to endorse Adamoni, Puffer, and Troniq for house, with Rageman and Troniq for senate, with no further instructions on how to vote. On 7/3, ThePufferOfficial resigned, as they felt the party had moved too far away from its original goals. This was followed by the resignation of rageman four days later because they did not wish to drag down the party.[3]

Structure

The PPR is ran by a ship's council of 5 players, elected every month by the members. Every month, the Council chooses two players to be Captains, who are put in a more formal position of power. The council may be changed by a triumphant majority vote, which then requires a jury proceedings before the change is made official. Many of the PPR choose not to respond to census filings, evidenced by the fact the SOTC shows only two members.[4]
