Monster Raving Loony Logo

The Monster Raving Loony Party (MLP), founded by lucaaasserole, was a centrist political party in Redmont. It was registered on Template:Date and accepted on Template:Date. In its two months of existence, the only MLP campaign was lucaaasserole's campaign in an October 2023 special election for the 21st House of Representatives.

History

The party had previously registered, on Template:Date, but was denied due to its "unrealistic policies". Some of these included:

  • Preventing identity theft by renaming everyone Dave;
  • Having opposition "glued together";
  • Replacing the medical exam with ten Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? questions;
  • Relocating the House of Representatives to the prison;
  • Reducing hospital waiting lists by decreasing the font size; and
  • Illegalising ding-dong ditching.

Notable policies

  • Introduce price caps to stabilise the economy;
  • Introduce a system in which individuals are paid for making private events
  • Add an additional deputy secretary for each department
  • Allow political parties to have unrealistic policies
  • Reinstate the FTGWop statue
