The City of Hamilton City (usually referred to as Hamilton[1][2][3]) was the original capital and largest city in Redmont until a meteor hit it on 28 May 2022 in the Reveille Transition[4] and replaced by Reveille
Design
The streets were made of coal blocks.[5][6] TheReal42Person states that the Capitol was designed like a "Capitol-mall", with all the government buildings together.[6]
Destruction
Many Cabinet members during the Reveille Transition period, under the Westray administration (2020), were against the replacement of Hamilton City with Reveille, citing many concerns, such as plot allocation difficulties, a "rushed timeline" and "desecration of server history," among others.[7]
A purge occurred on 8 October 2022.[4] "Hamilton was destroyed in the purge." TheReal42Person claims. "We blew it up with mechs and TNT." He went on to admit, "[He] robbed so many sugarcane farms." He also adds that the TNT used was called TNT Mech and tanks were used.[6]
What remained of the city was destroyed by a meteor strike the day following the purge.[4]
Revival
It was believed to have been deleted on 22 October 2022,[5] however, on 13 February 2025, an old backup of the map was found by xEndeavour, and was opened to the public to view and spectate.[8] It is now available to visit vis the airport.
