Greenmont was a group and self-declared nation operating in the Wilderness. They built a few small settlements throughout the Wild.

Etymology

The name "Greenmont" is a reference to the land on which Barren Valley was built. Its similarity to "Redmont" is a coincidence.

History

Greenmont was founded in the April of 2024 by SpaceHombre and DK3458 after they agreed to found a settlement at a small complex of SpaceHombre's buildings east of Central Flats Airstrip.

Greenmont grew, building a new "capital city" farther east, dubbed Magnopolis. Unfortunately, they had conflicts with local groups such as the 1008 Mafia and Anderella (later the Central Flats Merchant Republic). After both groups mostly disappeared, Greenmont existed in peace until Nebrasken64, a longtime resident of Anderella, forced Greenmont out of the region. They built a new settlement on an island near Geographe Airstrip, which was named Alparion.

On 27 January 2026, after months of stagnancy, DK3458 announced that Greenmont was to be disbanded, and its government dissolved.
