Caldiron Jon Un, commonly known as Caldiron (joined 18 June 2025; username .CaldironJa1), is a Redmontian professor, archivist, writer, creative director, and Bedrock player. He currently serves as a Lead Professor at the Department of Education.

He is a former chairperson of both the Propaganda Committee and the Legislation Committee of the Workers' Party of Redmont, a former member of its Central Committee, and the current secretary of the Federation of Autonomous Spaces.

Caldiron is the founder and owner of Sagarana Bookstore and the founder of the media company Autonomi Entertainment. He served as a Representative in the 33rd House of Representatives as the most-voted candidate of his party in that election.[1]

Career

First steps

Caldiron began his journey on the server as a fisher, living in isolation in the Everwild. On his first day, he raided a woodland mansion and converted it into his initial home, where he lived alongside a villager named William Menderson.

His early days as a fisher were marked by financial hardship and minimal interaction with Discord, generating little income. During this period, Caldiron wrote his first book, a short poem that he copied and sold at spawn under a pay-what-you-want model, stating buyers should pay “whatever their heart deemed fair.”

This initiative led to his meeting with Jesseya, who paid him $500 for the book and invited him to join her newly founded initiative, the Oakridge Autonomous Space, on 25 June 2025. There, Caldiron opened his first bookstore, Sagarana, named in tribute to his favorite book of the same title.

The following day, he received a Reveille plot donation from PluraGlasshouse, which he chose to confederate with Jesseya and other Autonomous Space members, forming the Reveille Autonomous Space. This collective would later become known as the Federation of Autonomous Spaces.

Caldiron joined the Workers' Party of Redmont on 7 July 2025, citing ideological alignment and admiration for the party’s political vision.

Sagarana Bookstore

On 10 July 2025, the Reveille Autonomous Space was officially inaugurated, alongside the opening of Sagarana’s first publishing branch. The project was supported by community donations and a DOC grant.[2]

From its inception, five authors besides Caldiron published physical books through Sagarana. On 3 August 2025, the bookstore hosted its first literary contest, featuring six contestants, with the prize split between Nyeogmi and SailorSatan.[3]

On 15 August 2025, Sagarana launched its vinyl and records branch after Caldiron patented the first custom music disc on the server. Following the discontinuation of permanent custom music discs due to server limitations, the branch shifted its focus to instruments and vanilla music discs.

As of today, Sagarana has generated over $120,000 in net worth and paid more than $40,000 in royalties to writers.

Department of Education

Caldiron applied for the Archivist position on 15 July 2025 but became notably active in the department after joining the Professor team on 18 August 2025.

As a Professor, he oversaw numerous patent applications and contributed to the distribution of creative items such as music discs and plushies. In the public domain, his most notable contributions include the creation of the Chess Board furniture and the implementation of a sponge crafting recipe, significantly reducing market overpricing of the item.

Politics

Caldiron identifies as pan-afro-latino eco-communist. In Redmont his political goals revolves around inclusivity, creative economy, business decentralization and land justice. On 28 August 2025, Caldiron was elected as a member of the Ninth Central Committee and appointed Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Workers' Party of Redmont.

On 11 September 2025, he was elected as a Representative to the 33rd Congress, campaigning on a platform centered on Bedrock inclusivity, advocacy for the farmers of Willow, and support for Redmont’s creative community.

During his term, Caldiron co-sponsored multiple bills and maintained transparency through public explanations of his voting record. Due to real-life constraints, he authored a single bill, the Bedrock Inclusivity Act, which failed to reach a majority in referendum.

Despite the bill’s failure, Caldiron remained an outspoken advocate for the Bedrock community, publicly criticizing the exclusion of Bedrock players from voting during the October Special Elections. He later stated that extensive amendments to the bill caused it to no longer represent the Bedrock community’s interests.

Caldiron chose not to seek re-election, stating a desire to prioritize personal fulfillment over political conflict. On 1 November 2025, he was appointed Chair of the Propaganda Committee of the Workers' Party.

Accolades

Caldiron was awarded the Order of Redmont by juniperfig on 12 October 2025 in recognition of his work in the Department of Education and his advocacy for Bedrock inclusivity.[4]

He was also awarded the Freedom of the House by Multiman155 for his consistent advocacy and prominent role as a Bedrock representative in the House of Representatives.[5]

Controversies

On 7 December 2025, Caldiron was named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by his former business partner AnomalousEntropy, alleging breach of contract and trademark infringement after Caldiron refused to transfer full ownership of Autonomi, a company of which he was the sole proprietor.[6]

Caldiron’s defense argued that no binding contract existed and that prior agreements were informal and insufficiently defined. On 21 December 2025, an amendment to the complaint added an accusation of defamation following an advertisement posted by Caldiron offering discounts to customers purchasing Entropy books described as “AI-written trash.”

The case remains in recess pending a final verdict.

Personal life

Caldiron identifies as someone who is attracted to men and describes himself as gender-non-conforming, expressing that traditional labels are outdated. While he is most commonly referred to using he/him pronouns, he states that any pronouns are acceptable.

He lives with his partner, SailorSatan, in Arsky Valley. The couple has not married, citing the belief that marriage functions primarily as a bourgeois institution designed to protect private property.

Caldiron owns several pets, including three parrots (Ibirapuera, Capoeira, and Tupinambá), a cat named Worker Larry, a rare zombie horse discovered in his attic, and a skeleton horse named vvirtue_.

Fun facts

  • Caldiron briefly served as a Compliance Officer at the DOC on 3 August 2025 but resigned weeks later, describing the position as “too lame, and DOE on top.”
  • He collects Labubus and political propaganda items, stating that “in essence, they are the same.”
