Revalen (initially RevSearch) is a search engine designed specifically for DemocracyCraft. It was founded and developed by lukadelrey and is a project of The Reveille Times. Revalen uses artificial intelligence and basic search engine technology to pull from the DemocracyCraft Wiki, forums, The Reveille Times, Paper News, The Exchange, etc. to present results and create an infobox for entities.
Revalen also supports live access of stock data and maps. Integration of /find has been requested.[1]
Integrations and sources
Revalen pulls from the DemocracyCraft Wiki to create its infoboxes and as search results. It also pulls from the websites of The Reveille Times and Paper News as search results. When displaying stock data, including the ticker symbol, total price, price change, stock exchange, outstanding shares, and status; it also includes a ranking of top stockholders at the bottom of the infobox showing information about the company pulled from The Exchange.
Privacy and preferences
Upon visiting the search engine's webpage, users see a pop-up asking if they want their results to include artificial intelligence-enhanced content, personalised results, and personalised ads. Users can toggle each on or off.[2]
Success
In July 2025, xEndeavour created a poll in #server-announcements asking if players wanted Revalen to be linked in the forums navigation bar. Ninety-seven respondents answered yes, while seven responded "Maybe Not".[3] Revalen was subsequently linked. This was met with minor backlash, such as by Dearev, who opined that Revalen, "just like any other company shouldn't have the shortcut", and should instead be linked in #links, "which would be fair".[4]
Maps
Revalen integrates the server map and plot ownership data. Users can add businesses (and other organisations) for a $0.04 fee.[5]
