Celebrity status is granted to individuals who are prominent among the community via public referendum. The concept was created in December 2022, when then-Representative Lord_Donuticus of the 16th Congress introduced the Celebrity Act, which passed, allowing the Department of Public Affairs to hold public referenda to award such status.[1] The first to receive celebrity status were 1950minecrafter,[2] Epiphone335[3], and WackJap[4] on 4 April 2025.
