Gnomefundme was a website used by players to raise money, usually for charitable causes, similar to GoFundMe IRL. Gnomefundme was made, owned and operated by Gnomewhisperer. It was used by many players and is commonly called GFM. It is no longer functional due to Gnomewhisperer leaving the server due to them being hacked and losing access to their accounts.^[1] GnomeFundMe had a system in which if you donated a certain amount, the Fundraiser would give you a prize.^[2]

History

Gnomefundme was made fee free on 6/5/2026^[2], with a Gnomestacks post made to celebrate. It was formally registered as a non-profit on June 20th, 2026, in order to "operate a fee-free crowdfunding platform that enables members of the redmont community to support one another through financial contributions" ^[12]. It was initially located at C027, and had three directors: President Gnomewhisperer, Treasurer juniperfig, and Secretary Aaj1234. After Gnome left due to them being hacked,^[1] they published the source code for Gnomefundme, and the Fontaine company took it over, creating Fontainefundme. Fontainefundme has the exact same setup as gnomefundme^[13].
