New page

The People's Reform Party(PRP) is a left-wing Political Party in Redmont. Officially created on July 20, 2026, by alexis_123003, it is now headed by the Council President, Strata. The People's Reform Party is a party formed with the express intent of creating a new voice for Redmonters in a new post-strike era. They aim to aid the people of Redmont in whatever way they can to help the most people possible. They attempt to do this through policies aimed at helping expand equity, justice, and unity across Redmont.

History
The PRP began on June 20th, 2026, after the strikes, designed to help provide Redmont with a leftist political party post-strike. Having never had a candidate run under their name for the House, the PRP still managed to get alexis_123003 into the House as an independent. Since then, the PRP has continued its founding mission.

Structure
The PRP has a unique three-tiered structure to their Governance. At the top, there is the council president. The Council President's Job is to help guide the councils in administrative and constructive means with the express intent to better the party's goals. They have the right to skip the discussion period required of all other Motions, are the main spokesperson, can give directives without the need for council approval, and can request a party crisis. The Council president is elected from the High Council and rotates among them for the duration of their term. The High Council is a group of three, elected by rank choice vote, and votes are kept private. The High Council's duties include, but are not limited to, The Election of the Council President, Enforcement of the Party Charter, Deciding Party Policy, Giving Directives to the Party's Congressional Members, Voting on Party Legislation and Charter Changes, and Enforcing Party Discipline and Unity. The Three High Councillors each lead one of the three lower councils: unity, information, and strategy. The Unity Council is in charge of organizing party membership and Membership Interviews, Organizing External Endorsement Interviews, Organization and Certification of Party Elections, Approving High Council Directives to PRP Elected Officials, Organizing Member initiatives, and Approving Party Spending. The Information Council is in charge of giving out Party Announcements, informing the Party about Party Initiatives, informing the Party about elections and who is running for the party, informing the Party about all political initiatives like coalitions and deals, and organizing political ad Campaigns. The strategy council is in charge of Proposing Policy and Platform Changes to the High Council, creating and Approving Messaging and Propaganda Material, Proposing Electoral campaigns to the High Council, Proposing Governmental Strategy to the High Council, and Allocating Party Funds to the various councils. Each one of the lower councils can vote unanimously to impeach their high councilor.
