Social Democrat Party was founded by PluraGlasshouse, previously the founder of the now-defunct political parties [[RU|Redmont Union]] and [[Labor Party of Redmont]], on 22 January 2026, as a centre-left, social democratic political party.

The party held its first executive committe election on 23 January 2026, electing four members, with PluraGlasshouse as the chair.<ref>[[:File:SU first exec committee stuff.png]]</ref>
