One of your duties is to create monthly National Health Surveys (NHS). The Medical Council will assist the Epidemiology Team with creating questions for the questionnaire. You may also be tasked with some small administrative department work. You will also work in the lab.

The expansion consisted of rentable stalls, a police station, a pharmacy, and a pier. A major change occured to the town on April 8th, 2021 making all buffs legal. This brought waves of new players and business owners to Oakridge due to the fact how selling buffs no longer required citizens to have a black market stall. ''Zab''’s leadership came to an end in June as he stepped down from his position as mayor. After ''Zab'' stepped down, Oakridge held its first mayoral election with voting closing on the 25th of June, 2021. [[1950minecrafter|1950Minecrafter]] came out on top, and was elected as Oakridge mayor.

After struggles upon struggles, Oakridge managed to transition to the new map.

Oakridge’s economy is centered around the logging industry. As such, Oakridge supplies Redmont with all types of wood and wood related products.

Oakridge is home to many interesting places, one of them being the [[Oakridge Stadium]] to the north. The stadium has a soccer field which, using the Blockball plugin, hosts soccer (football) matches, and has previously been used for tournaments such as the Super Cup. As such, the Super Cup has become a major part of Oakridge’s unique culture.

Our government consists of three branches: legislative, executive, and [[Judiciary|judicial]].

The legislative branch, or [[Congress]], is split into two parts: the [[House of Representatives]] (HoR) and the [[Senate]]. Representatives in the HoR are responsible for creating and voting on legislation, while Senators review and vote on proposed bills from the HoR.

The executive branch comprises the [[president]], [[vice president]], and the [[Cabinet]]. The [[president]] and [[vice president]] are elected democratically by the players every four months, leading the government as a whole! This is the same electoral system we use to elect our legislative branch. The Cabinet consists of advisors who oversee various government departments.

The [[Judiciary|judicial branch]] runs the court system. Citizens have the right to bring legal disputes against each other, with judges presiding over cases and determining appropriate punishments based on {{DCForums|Link=/threads/constitution.6/#post-6|Forums=our constitution}}.

Players have the opportunity to rent and own various properties both in the city and the wilderness. These plots are technically referred to as "regions". Most new players don't start off with plots, you will usually need to save up a lot of money first.
