The pluragate scandal of september and october 2025, involving alleged bribery and corruption by former representative [[Plura72]] was initiaded by a motion to amend the October 2025 appropriations.

On september 9th 2025, Frmr representative Plura72 proposed a motion to amend the October 2025 Appropriations Act, increasing the DCT's budget by 50,000 dollars.

Allegedly this came after Plura72 offered a position to secretary of the Department of Construction and Transportation [[XEndeavour]] in his campaign cabinet as Secretary for Construction and Transportation.

Following Plura72's motion, Deputy Speaker [[RealImza]] initiated a Investigative Hearing to learn plura's motives.

The October 2025 presidential Election is set to happen from the 7th October, to the 10th October 2025.

== Background ==
Following the introduction (and eventual retraction) of the DCT's fairness fee, 2 splinter parties formed from the Workers Party Redmont (WPR), 1 being the Left Opposition, the other being New Alliance. The fee had also created a large amount of drama outside of WPR, with it eventually leading to the resignation of [[Kaiserin]]<ref>https://discord.com/channels/673612908868927498/686158870435201035/1409279606992801893</ref>, making [[Juniperfig]] the 22nd President of Redmont.

As a result of internal party tensions, the RBP had a major fallout after the [[33rd Congress]]'s election in September, with senator [[DocTheory]] leaving due to the President of the Senate elections, with Representative [[Plura72]] leaving a few minutes later, to create the Labor Party Redmont, with Representative [[RealImza]] leaving as well, now exclusively being a New Alliance member.

This left both major parties in a weakened position, ahead of the October elections.

Following the July Party Charter rework, there was a primary process added inside the WPR, with the winner getting the presidential nomination,

Having opened on the 19th September, the WPR primary will produce one of the 2 main contenders. The Pepe/Eenza ticket is overall considered the favourite to win, based on Eenza having a net approval of +49, and Pepecuu having a +55 net approval.

The primaries were won by the Pepecuu/Eenza ticket, to very few peoples surprise. The Campaign Server launched while Eenza was not available, and Pepecuu was asleep, resulting in a heavily broken campaign server at launch.

EATB joined upon being invited by their friend [[T04DS74]] following a [[Trolligarch]] video. EATB and T04DS74 planned together on what to do on the server, but frequently operate alone.

== Career ==
EATB became an accountant in May. They subsequently began frequently attempting and eventually passing the [[barrister]] and corporate law exams at the [[University]]. Following a brief encounter with player [[HomelessBum]], EATB became a hunter, built a mob farm, and became a supplier for [[Vernicia]].

With help from T04DS74, EATB acquired four plots in [[Reveille]] and one in Aventura in May.

On 8 May 2025, EATB joined the [[Workers' Party of Redmont]], a party that aligned with their support for financial reforms and plot regulation. They briefly resided in [[Anville]] and squatted for days before claiming their plot. They joined its Growth and Legislation committees.

On 28 May 2025, EATB moved to Aventura. On the same day, less than the 30 days required to run (but 30 days since their join date by the day of the election), EATB was nominated as the WPR candidate for [[head of commerce of Aventura]]<ref>[https://www.democracycraft.net/threads/council-election-may-2025-special.26314/post-103834 Council Election - May 2025 (SPECIAL)]</ref> and won with 12 of 18 votes against [[Dearev]] (independent) and [[bigpappa140]] ([[Galactic Empire of Redmont]]), who each received six votes.
