Her prefix "SMS" stands for "Seiner Majestät Schiff" (engl. "His majesty's ship"), a term commonly used in early 20th century German oceanliners.

=== Design and Construction ===
Germania is themed after the oceanliners [[wikipedia:RMS_Aquitania|Aquitania]] and [[wikipedia:SS_Vaterland_(1913)|Vaterland]]. With its 4 red funnels, white superstructure, black hull and red waterline, the similarity to this era of ships is visible.

The interior is luxurious and constructed in a Neobaroque and Edwardian style, with heavy use of wood, gold, resin and quartz.

Interior spaces include the Grand Staircase with a glass dome, winter garden, several restaurants, wellness-spa, cabins coming in 3 different classes, promenades, a ball room, Parisian balcony and more.

Measurement wise, Germania is the largest vessel in Aventura and the longest civilian ship in Redmont, only beaten in length by the aircraft carrier RS Australia.

She was built in the [[Katzen]] owned Tulip&Eugene shipyard and pasted into Aventura in October 2025.

The constructor of the vessel, [[Katto]], also owns the ship, and made himself a residency in the ships most luxurious living unit. This houses a balcony, oriental-themed living room, and Katto's six pet Ocelots: Armando, Matthias, Olga, Eugen, Kim and Jean-Pierre.

Originally, the Germania had looked very different to how it does today, but in October 2025 it was thoroughly refitted.

Construction on the original ship started on 18 June 2025 and finished on 1 July 2025, but after issues with the design became evident she was refitted, starting 5 Sept. 2025 and finishing on 11 October 2025.

The ship is accompanied by 3 small boats, the Sailing Yacht 'Algarve', Submarine 'Saudade' and Fishing Boat 'Borussia'.

Katzen itself has first started as a way to link Katzenfutter, a bar and café located on c455 at that time, and KatzenArt, a new art business. The first records of Katzen as a linking conglomerate have appeared right after KatzenArt's founding in December 2023.

== Katzenfutter ==
Katzenfutter was the first company owned by Katto and ended up setting the precedent of "Katzen" being put at the start of every further subsidiary's name. The Company was founded on 23 October 2022 as a small bar and café, located on the plot c120 in a rentable shop right outside East University Bus stop. It was then relocated to a rented shop on c572 after the original location was evicted, then it was moved to c712 which Katto aquired around the 14 April 2023. It was then, at last, moved to c455, where it would stay to this day. At multiple points during Katzenfutters history it was temporarily closed, and in early 2024 was sold to [[RylandW]], though it was repurchased by Katto a few months later.

It had previously (April 2023 - Early 2024) been an Apartment Complex on c712 and c455, managed by the [[RHO]] (Redmont Housing Organisation), a charitable organisation providing cheap housing to new players, co-owned by Katto and sprrrrrrrrr. It was commonly referred to as "Windsor Station Houses", as it was located right at Windsor Train Station.

== Nachricht ==
Nachricht was a short lived project starting on 19 March 2024 for a rivaling social media company to LinkUp. It never took off and was abandoned a few days after creation.

== KatzenMall and Katkauf ==
KatzenMall was a mall located on c500. It existed from its construction in August 2023 to its destruction on 17 July 2024. It was co-managed with [[RegularVynixu]], though after his deportation full ownership was given to Katto. During its opening weeks it was surprisingly active, buzzing with new shops and built a small community. However, as many shop owners quit the server or relocated, the building died down and was eventually demolished.

Katkauf ("Cat Purchase") was a small German-themed supermarket in the basement of the mall, being one of the only shops to reliably sell most of the custom chef produce and ingredients. It was not demolished along with KatzenMall and, even though the plot underwent substantial remodelling, likely still exists buried underground.

== Katzen's Packetfahrt- und Actienverein (KPA) ==
The KPA is the name of the institution that controls Katzen's naval assetts and shipyard. It roughly translates to "Katzen's Packet- and stock company".

The ships currently under KSL's ownership are the SMS [[Germania]] (the largest ship in Redmont history), the Algarve, Saudade and Borussia.

KPA also constructed privately owned yachts like the superyacht Neptune, sailing yachts Midnight and Maple, and several fishing boats.

Survive Bar is a bar owned by [[AnimeInc]] which was founded in October 2023. It's named after a bar in the Yakuza franchise of the same name.

It used to sell British Tea and various other elixirs. Notable people that visited were [[v__d]] and his at the time wife [[smokeyybunnyyy]].

== History ==
The bar was first founded in the top floor in a region rented by [[ToasterWars]] on c110. It was inspired by the bar's design in the game but on a smaller scale, lacking the piano.

Anime then went on to open a branch in KatMall (c500, owned by [[ItsKatto|Katto]] under the [[Katzen]] company), but this branch was never set up due to a conflict with the plot owner (a famous example includes Anime requesting a sign reading 'Survive Bar' which Katto lazily worded as 'survivalbar' as he just wanted to dismiss the issue) and because ToasterWars was already eyeing up a building he'd go on to buy (now known as [[Redmont Art Archives|AnimeGallery]])

Once the latter building was constructed, Anime moved Survive Bar there, where it remains to this day but is not maintained or restocked anymore. However, it was quite actively mantained in the past with AnimeInc recalling that he tediously rebuilt the piano from the game and even commissioned art for it.

The RMS Falkenberg was a ship in Aventura which sank many years ago when it was lost in a tropical storm on its way from Aventura to Revielle. Its wreckage nowadays is nearly unrecognizable as it lies on its side with most of the hull having collapsed and is covered in corals.

The interior is luxurious and constructed in a Neobaroque and Edwardian style, with heavy use of wood, gold, resin and quartz.

Interior spaces include the Grand Staircase with a glass dome, winter garden, several restaurants, wellness-spa, cabins coming in 3 different classes, promenades, a ball room, Parisian balcony and more.

Measurement wise, Germania is the largest vessel in Aventura and the longest civilian ship in Redmont, only beaten in length by the aircraft carrier RS Australia.

She was built in the [[Katzen]] owned Tulip&Eugene shipyard and pasted into Aventura in October 2025.

The constructor of the vessel, [[Katto]], also owns the ship, and made himself a residency in the ships most luxurious living unit. This houses a balcony, oriental-themed living room, and Katto's six pet Ocelots: Armando, Matthias, Olga, Eugen, Kim and Jean-Pierre.

Originally, the Germania had looked very different to how it does today, but in October 2025 it was thoroughly refitted.

Construction on the original ship started on 18 June 2025 and finished on 1 July 2025, but after issues with the design became evident she was refitted, starting 5 Sept. 2025 and finishing on 11 October 2025.

The ship is accompanied by 3 small boats, the Sailing Yacht 'Algarve', Submarine 'Saudade' and Fishing Boat 'Borussia'.

It was then relocated to a rented shop on c572 after the original location was evicted, then it was moved to c712 which Katto aquired around the 14 April 2023. It was then, at last, moved to c455, where it would stay to this day. At multiple points during Katzenfutters history it was temporarily closed, and in early 2024 was sold to [[RylandW]], though it was repurchased by Katto a few months later.

KatzenMall was a mall located on c500. It existed from its construction in August 2023 to its destruction on 17 July 2024. It was co-managed with [[RegularVynixu]], though after his deportation full ownership was given to Katto. During its opening weeks it was surprisingly active, buzzing with new shops and built a small community. However, as many shop owners quit the server or relocated, the building died down and was eventually demolished.

Katkauf ("Cat Purchase") was a small German-themed supermarket in the basement of the mall, being one of the only shops to reliably sell most of the custom chef produce and ingredients. It was not demolished along with KatzenMall and, even though the plot underwent substantial remodelling, likely still exists buried underground.

== Katzen Shipping Line ==
The Katzen Shipping line is the name of the organ that controls Katzen's naval assetts and shipyard.

The two ships currently under KSL's ownership are the SMS [[Germania]] and the AV Ventura (formally Danube). These are the largest civil ship in Redmont and the 4th largest Yacht in Redmont respectively.

Katzen's ships are constructed in singleplayer by Katto, in the Tulip&Eugene shipyard. It is currently working on a new ship, the Kaiser Eugene, but it is uncertain if that ship will ever be pasted into [[Aventura]] due to its size.

Her prefix "SMS" stands for "Seiner Majestät Schiff" (engl. "His majesty's ship"), a term commonly used in early 20th century German vessels.

Germania is themed after the Olympic class oceanliners Titanic and Britannic. With its four buff-coloured funnels, white superstructure, black hull and red waterline the similarity to Titanic can easily be spotted.

The interior is luxurious and constructed in a Neobaroque and Edwardian style, with heavy use of wood, gold, resin and terracotta.

Interior spaces include the Grand Staircase with a colorful glass dome, a swimming pool, steam room, smoke room, wellness-spa, several restaurants, cabins coming in 3 different classes, promenades, the impressive Kaiserhalle with its pipe organ, a souvenir shop, a british tea lounge built for [[AnimeInc]], a gymnasium, clinic, engine room, laundry room, cinema and more.

Measurement wise, Germania is the largest vessel in Aventura in all metrics and the longest civilian ship in Redmont.

She was built in the [[Katzen]] owned Tulip&Eugene shipyard in singleplayer and pasted into Aventura in early July 2025.

The constructor of the vessel, Katto, also owns the ship, and made himself a residency in the ships most luxurious living unit. This houses a balcony, oriental-themed living room, and Katto's six pet Ocelots: Armando, Matthias, Olga, Eugen, Kim and Jean-Pierre.

Construction on the ship started on 18 June 2025 and finished on 1 July 2025, giving it an impressive construction time of only 12 days.

In mid-February, the [[February 2025 Aventura mayoral election|sixth mayoral election]] was held. He won.

[[AnimeInc]] declared his candidacy in the [[February 2025 Aventura mayoral election]], with Katto as his deputy mayor, wherein his ticket initially lost - but after the DOS re-ran the elections due to human error, they won the [[March 2025 Aventura mayoral election]].

On 21 May 2024, he satirically declared he would be running for president in the [[June 2024 Redmont presidential election]], running ads for the supposed campaign.

== Philanthropy and activism ==

Katto founded and operated the [[Redmont Housing Organization]] (RHO), which provided housing for those of low-income. He served as its chairman from 23 March to 23 November 2023.<ref name=":2" />

He donated supplies to construct and furnish the [[Diamond Foundation]]'s Diamond Center 1 in late 2023.<ref name=":3" />

On 27 April 2024, KatzenArt at [[c120]] opened a public bunker for the [[2024 purge]]. Also that day, [[DiamondTV]] launched the #ProtectPets campaign to protect pets during the 2024 purge, which ItsKatto promoted.<ref name=":3">Firsthand knowledge of [[RylandW]]. 6 May 2024.</ref>

He also donated a grand total of $119k to [[AnimeInc's Gallery]].

== Personal life==
Katto resides in a private castle called "Neukatzstein" in [[Reveille Heights]], but also owns property in [[Bondi Beach]], [[Reveille]].<ref name=":1">/about ItsKatto.
