The town features a woodsy and forested theme, extending across the entirety of the town. The town's location at 4170 74 1017 (town hall) makes Oakridge directly north of [[Redmont]]’s capital, [[Reveille]]. Oakridge’s name was originally Oakridge Bay due to the fact that the town is situated next to a bay though the name was later shortened to simply Oakridge.

Oakridge was opened to the public on November 20th, 2020. The town’s popularity quickly grew, and on January 8th, 2021, Oakridge completed the town's first expansion. The expansion consisted of rentable stalls, a police station, a pharmacy, and a pier. A major change occured to the town on April 8th, 2021 making all buffs legal. This brought waves of new players and business owners to Oakridge due to the fact how selling buffs no longer required citizens to have a black market stall. ''Zab''’s leadership came to an end in June as he stepped down from his position as mayor. After ''Zab'' stepped down, Oakridge held its first mayoral election with voting closing on the 25th of June, 2021. [[1950minecrafter|1950Minecrafter]] came out on top, and was elected as Oakridge mayor.

Similar to other towns, the transition to [[Reveille]] damaged Oakridge's activity. Oakridge was almost entirely rebuilt when transferred to the new map, and went through several major structural changes in the process. Due to the large number of players leaving DemocracyCraft due to the transition, Oakridge had trouble rebuilding the town. After struggles upon struggles, Oakridge managed to transition to the new map.

Oakridge’s economy is centered around the logging industry. As such, Oakridge supplies Redmont with all types of wood and wood related products.

Oakridge is home to many interesting places, one of them being the [[Oakridge Stadium]] to the north. The stadium has a soccer field which, using the Blockball plugin, hosts soccer (football) matches, and has previously been used for tournaments such as the Super Cup. As such, the Super Cup has become a major part of Oakridge’s unique culture.

Oakridge is also home to the [[Oakridge Theatre]], where many political rallies and events have been held over the years, and a rich entertainment district in the north-east of the town.

[[AnimeInc]]'s term as [[Aventura]] Mayor started on April 2nd, 2025, after being elected in the [[March 2025 Aventura Mayoral Election|March 2025 Mayoral Election]] in which he ran as an independent along with his running mate, [[ItsKatto|Katto]]. His election was the result of the Supreme Court declaring the [[February 2025 Aventura Mayoral Election]] invalid.

Even before the election, AnimeInc was well familiar with the Town of Aventura, having consecutively served as it's [[Deputy Mayor of Aventura|Deputy Mayor]] since June 8th 2024.

His campaign promises were the continuation of the Southern Expansion, ongoing events in Aventura, fixes and updates to Aventura's bureaucracy, including bylaws and the Constitution, introduction of an improved grant system, return of criminal RP, reintroduction of the Yacht Club and continued giveaways. As of the time of writing this, nearly all of them have been completed.

During AnimeInc's term as Mayor the Districts of Falkenberg (German-themed village in southern Aventura), Elysian Fields (European-themed mixed commercial and residential zone in northeastern Aventura) and Newport (British themed riding area, green space and diving spot) were constructed and pasted. The revenue of the new plots amounts to roughly $700k. Several events have also taken place, such as a town hall, hide and seek, the Oakridge War peace deal, a HoR debate and an art event. In the initial days of 2025, an influx of new players joined DemocracyCraft, due to the reporting on the [[February 2024 Redmont Nationalist Party controversy|February 2024 coup]] attempted by the Redmont Nationalist Party. This influx, known as the Trolligarch wave, is credited with shifting Redmont's political landscape to the left, notably establishing the WPR. In the [[29th Congress|January congressional elections]], the [[GER–WPR coalition]] achieved a majority in the [[House of Representatives]], and in the [[February 2025 presidential election]], its [[1950minecrafter February 2025 presidential campaign|joint ticket]] won, with the WPR's 1950minecrafter ascending to the presidency and the GER's Yeet_Boy, then-Mayor of Oakridge, to the vice presidency.

In mid-February, the [[February 2025 Aventura mayoral election|sixth mayoral election]] was held. The major candidates were [[RylandW]] (GER) and [[Sleepii_Sloth]] (WPR), who ran as independents under the support of the WPR, and [[AnimeInc]] (IND) and [[ItsKatto|Katto]] (IND), who also ran as independents with the backing of the LfR.
