The chief justice is most senior officer of the [[Supreme Court]] and the judiciary. A player must have at least 150 hours of total active playtime to be nominated for chief justice by the president. In order to assume their position after being nominated, they must be approved by a majority of the [[Senate]].

Section 19(2) of the [https://www.democracycraft.net/threads/constitution.6/ Constitution] grants the chief justice the power to deliver a verdict in the case of a disagreement among the justices.
